MOTHER

MOTHER

She is the genesis of our race
But her importance goes out without a trace
She is so gentle, she's so pure
I have seen god in her for sure

You are the one who hold us up when we fall
You have treated our wounds of childhood brawls
You are my teacher, you are my brother
You are my god and I mean that MOTHER

As life confronted me, and I was tried
I always found you standing by my side.
That gentle smile was a sign of faith
Of I will pass the test, no matter how goliath

You are the one who hold us up when we fall
You have treated our wounds of childhood brawls
You are my teacher, you are my brother
You are my god and I mean that MOTHER

You used to make up for the father's rages
For the story of my life, you are its pages
Those late night exams revisions of mine
Made you let your sleep sidelined

You are the one who hold us up when we fall
You have treated our wounds of childhood brawls
You are my teacher, you are my brother
You are my god and I mean that MOTHER

You remembered my flight schedules by heart
You knowing the packing stuff as if it was your part
Those last minute advise of taking care
Finding the treasure like you is just too rare

You are the one who hold us up when we fall
You have treated our wounds of childhood brawls
You are my teacher, you are my brother
You are my god and I mean that MOTHER

I looked down at my shimmering past
Though I am happy of what I wanted to be at last
Through all these time I kept saying "THANK U GOD"
But you know you have always been my lord

You are the one who hold us up when we fall
You have treated our wounds of childhood brawls
You are my teacher, you are my brother
You are my god and I mean that MOTHER

Freedom

FREEDOM

This is the land of free, home of brave
We are the leaders now, not the slaves

Freedom has given us the strength to seek
To let loose ourselves from this social tweak

Marking territories and calling them borders
Where shells and blood is law and order

The laws of the man and the laws of the word
Freedom from peace but to still use the bird

Relentless in the search of saints
Breeding your minds with mythical paint

Struggling minors in the success race
Melting their innocence without a trace

Time is ripe, we shall make a move
Cut loose yourselves from this limping groove

Let’s make our insurgents proud
Let’s flay our head from these abominating shrouds

Freedom we then call for, will have a meaning
Let the world call it a whole new beginning
